Shanti Yoga Glasgow is the name of my yoga business. My name is Sasha Ezzi Irani and I am the sole owner and teacher for Shanti Yoga Glasgow and I am the data controller for this information (contact details below), which means I decide how your personal data is processed and for what purposes.

Shanti Yoga Glasgow takes our clients’ security and privacy very seriously. We do not share any information with third parties, nor do we collect or retain any information other than that necessary for us to provide our services to you.

We collect the following types of information about you: Your name, address, contact telephone number and email address. This data is collected in order to communicate with our clients to send class and workshop confirmations and reminders, class pass purchases and renewals, refunds and cancellations. We also require that new clients complete a waiver prior to their first class (see below).

Website usage information is collected using cookies (more information in the Cookies section below).


We will see your personal information necessary in order to enable us to provide our services to you. This information is only viewed by class and workshop teachers. Information collected will be stored securely and securely.


In order to safeguard the health of our clients, we also ask clients to complete a health form either upon registering with bookwhen or on their first class. The information gathered on this form is strictly confidential and is used solely to inform our teachers of any medical conditions. The information provided enables our teachers to provide safe alternative options during classes and workshops, and, where necessary, advise clients from undertaking the class/ workshop that they wish to sign up for. The info is stored securely online.


Shanti Yoga Glasgow uses third party software provided by Bookwhen to manage class and workshop bookings. In order to be able to use this function, you are required to register with the Shanti Yoga Glasgow Bookwhen Online system. Once registered, you can modify your personal information or delete your account

Bookwhen stores all data in servers and backup servers located within the EU and complies with all GDPR regulations.


Should you need more information about the classes and workshops that we provide, you can contact us via the contact form on our website. In order to process your query, we request that you complete all fields (email, first name and surname, service and message). All messages sent via the contact form are sent to and are only viewed by class and workshop teachers. You can request a copy of correspondence, or its removal or correction, as stipulated in the Subject Access Request section.


We would like to send you news updates relating to our classes, workshops and promotional offers. For this purpose, Shanti Yoga Glasgow uses the email marketing services provided by Mailchimp. Mailchimp has a partnership agreement with Bookwhen by which you can choose to opt in or out to receive email marketing communications from Shanti Yoga Glasgow via your Bookwhen online account.

If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at any time following the instructions found in your Shanti Yoga Glasgow Bookwhen Online account or by using the safe unsubscribe link found at the foot of newsletters.
